Innovation and Creativity

• Demonstrates originality and novel approach to applying or using technology.
• Encourages thinking outside the box and running your own experiments.

Technical Execution

• Clear understanding and skillful use of technology, whether in creating something new or applying technology in a novel way.
• Includes functional prototype or demonstrated experiment.

Relevance & Exploration

• Projects by Nigerian and people of Nigerian descent
• We also welcome work that pushes boundaries or explores new concepts, even if not directly tied to current trends or immediate applications.
• Submissions that add value through unique perspectives, challenge assumptions, or offer exploratory insights into potential future are encouraged.

Presentation Quality

• Ability to communicate the idea clearly and effectively, and within established time limits.
• Visual and/or practical demonstration components are required.

Diversity

• Demos represent a diverse range of voices, backgrounds and ideas.
